What’s New – Attack Detection with LLMs, Internal Account Takeover Defense, and Integration with Palo Alto Cortex XSOAR

Tessian Cloud Email Security intelligently prevents advanced email threats and protects against data loss, to strengthen email security and build smarter security cultures in modern enterprises.

To kick off 2024, we continue to accelerate our pace of innovation, delivering enhanced attack detection with LLMs and defense against internal account takeovers. We’ve also built new integrations and API endpoints to further automate the email threat management lifecycle in SIEM and SOAR platforms.

Enhanced Attack Detection using Large Language Models

We’re thrilled to introduce Large Language Models (LLMs) to Tessian, elevating phishing identification and classification. LLMs enhance our understanding of sender intent, capturing high-risk requests. Moreover, they actively detect unsolicited outreach, categorizing malicious and unwanted communications. Rest assured, LLMs operate exclusively within our environment, with no data shared externally. Data Security Overview on the Tessian HelpCenter.

Detect Malicious Images in PDF Attachments

As threat actors increasingly use images to bypass text-focused defenses, this release provides an additional layer of security against image based attacks.  Tessian now detects malicious images in PDF attachments. Stay tuned for upcoming releases extending this capability to DOCX attachments and other file types.

Automate Threat Detection and Remediation in Cortex XSOAR

Exciting news for Tessian and Palo Alto Cortex XSOAR customers! Seamlessly integrate both solutions from the XSOAR Marketplace to enhance detection and expedite email investigations. Benefit from direct remediation within the XSOAR console, correlation with threat signals, and improved reporting.

Tessian and Palo Alto Networks customers can access the integration from the Cortex XSOAR Marketplace.

Adaptive Cards (Beta)

Experience Microsoft’s latest user experience improvements with Adaptive Cards. End users can scan emails for potential signs of phishing faster with interactive buttons and refreshable content, providing a seamless, intuitive experience.

Get Audit Logs Using the Tessian API

Now, Tessian customers can automate audit log retrieval via API, enhancing alerting and dashboard updates within SIEM and SOAR platforms. This new endpoint, mirroring the Audit Trail page, offers valuable information for proactive security management.

Customers can access the API documentation here.
